Hello. My name Jim Boehler and I'm a huge film nerd. I fell in love with the movies at a young age which probably started after seeing the Star Wars trilogy. I guess I liked the idea that movies can take viewers to any place in a filmmaker's imagination. This interest led me to started to make short films on VHS as a kid. After graduating high school, I decided to pursue studying Film and Video Production at Grand Valley State University. I've made many short films over the years, but my real passion is talking about movies with my friends and family. I'm writing this blog because I love discussing movies both new and old. I am fascinated that you make short movies, and videos. I am wondering how you enjoy movies; I think if I had in-depth knowledge on movie making, I would spend most of my time critiquing the movie instead of watching it. I like your blog, it is well put together, and very interesting.
